How We Help

Powerful Brain Training Tool for All Ages

Imagine Improvement utilizes the Interactive Metronome therapy motivating the body and brain to work better together. Interactive Metronome (IM) is an intensive, research-based brain training program that helps children and adults overcome attention, memory and coordination limitations. IM works for people of all ages who have a variety of conditions affecting their cognitive and physical abilities.

Because of the brain’s neuroplasticity — its ability to change — it is possible to “rewire” the brain to overcome learning disabilities and other processing disorders. Designed to help children and adults with developmental, learning and attention problems related to motor processing and sequencing challenges, IM training focuses on improving rhythm and timing, two critical factors in being able to plan and sequence your thoughts and actions.

Meet Our Providers

Sally Ellis

Hello! My name is Sally Ellis. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Montana and taught preschool for 19 years. My husband and I were foster parents for over 24 years and, in that time; we had many children with learning and behavioral challenges in our care. Seeing the undesirable effects of some drugs on these children, prompted me to seek  treatment that did not involve drugs, but which had similar or preferably, better outcomes. That quest to find a drug free option led me to Interactive Metronome. This effective therapy captured my wholehearted interest.

While I had sought out a therapy that would help with one particular learning disability, I quickly realized that there were many various diagnoses that were addressed with the IM therapy. I became passionate about helping children meet challenges with the positive results I observed with IM. I worked to obtain my IM certification and established Imagine Improvement in 2009. I have always had a heart for children and especially those who have learning difficulties. IM offers a solution backed by amazing research followed with even more amazing long-term results.

Jodi Brown

Welcome! My name is Jodi Brown. I have a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Washington University and have taught elementary school for 16 years. Several years ago, I also began working for students with behavioral and mental challenges in the community. The experiences as a CBRS and teacher have shown me that drugs do not get to the root of the problem and often come with side effects that only add to an already difficult situation. I was determined to find an alternative therapy that allowed children to reduce and even eliminate the need for medicine.

When Sally shared the amazing results her clients were experiencing using Interactive Metronome therapy, I knew I had found the answer. Even more amazing, was to find that the Interactive Metronome therapy improves the brains timing, therefore its’ benefits reach far beyond the academic and behavioral spectrum to include adults as well. I became a Certified Metronome Provider, IM Home Specialist and have obtained additional hours in ADHD, Reading, Dyslexia, Adult and Stroke. I joined Sally so together we could offer a drug free alternative therapy that may quite possibly change you or your child’s life in ways never thought possible.
